August 2024: Release 2 – CX Portal

Summary

Our 2nd Release of August continues to focus on generative AI foundations behind the scenes and usability improvements for the Administration Panel.

Enhancements

  • The label “Conversation” was used on the bot insights page where the label “Questions” was used on the bot performance page. “Questions” more accurately describes the interaction (which is technically a “Turn” in AI speak) so we’ve updated the bot insights page to use Questions. Now, “Question” is a single back-and-forth between your user and the AI, and “Session” is the entire conversation between the user and AI consistently across the UI.
  • Chatbot Customers have a new page available under Bot Training called “Bot Custom Questions” which contains the ability to manually tweak some JSON values that will be further documented in a future release.
  • EduMessenger Clients will now see the status of their SMS Messages automatically update within the campaign control, but also have a new button to force the refresh of those item’s status.

Defects

  • Resolved an issue where select chatbot customers Bot Performance data was not compiling and displaying correctly
  • Resolved an issue where some chat logs contained large amounts of incorrectly added blank space
